Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Supply Chain & Logistics Senior Manager in Livermore to be responsible for executing and assisting in planning the strategic vision for assigned business. Primary responsibility is to identify and implement the direction to be followed and ensure vertical alignment for all the accounts for Customer Service and Operations. You will also be responsible for all customers within the business at the strategic level to ensure customer and organization expectations are met. At the same time, will ensure vertical alignment on the operation ensuring Service Performance, Staffing, Cost, Carrier Selection, Savings initiatives, and Continuous Improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the Account Management staff to that meet and / or exceed new business revenue goals.
- Identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales in both new and existing accounts.
- Interface with corporate and customer decision makers, as well as vertical and support department leaders.
- Validate business process effectiveness and results in a proactive manner.
- Responsible for resource allocation, resource requisition and resource management.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success in leading, supervising, managing, and developing high performance teams in a large group setting.
- Six plus years of relevant work experience.
- P&L expertise.
