Job overview: 

Schneider is seeking a Driver Services Team Leader in Laredo to lead a team of driver services associates who are focused on creating a positive experience for drivers at a Schneider facility. The Driver Services Team Leader will manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including overseeing gates, the yard, the cafeteria, company cars and more. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Coach, mentor and develop a team of Driver Service Specialists. 
  • Ensure the team provides outstanding service to drivers who come to the facility. 
  • Determine the most effective use of time and talents to meet business objectives. 
  • Collaborate with teams in operations, facilities, security and maintenance to solve problems. 
  • Lead problem resolution to enhance the productivity of equipment, safety and low-cost operations. 
  • Hold vendors accountable for high quality service. 

Skills and qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • 2-4 years of related work experience. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Able to positively coach, lead and influence a team.
