Job overview:
Schneider is seeking a Driver Services Team Leader in Laredo to lead a team of driver services associates who are focused on creating a positive experience for drivers at a Schneider facility. The Driver Services Team Leader will manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including overseeing gates, the yard, the cafeteria, company cars and more.
Responsibilities:
- Coach, mentor and develop a team of Driver Service Specialists.
- Ensure the team provides outstanding service to drivers who come to the facility.
- Determine the most effective use of time and talents to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with teams in operations, facilities, security and maintenance to solve problems.
- Lead problem resolution to enhance the productivity of equipment, safety and low-cost operations.
- Hold vendors accountable for high quality service.
Skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-4 years of related work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to positively coach, lead and influence a team.
