Job overview:  

Schneider is seeking an Internal Audit Manager in Green Bay to ensure financial; operational and compliance practices and controls support the company’s objectives. The Internal Audit Manager will also lead a team of internal auditors and work with various leaders on the finance team. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead efforts to support the company’s internal control and compliance objectives. 
  • Complete risk-based auditing, understand Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, use risk and control frameworks and apply process improvement models. 
  • Work with external audit firms. 
  • Support risk assessment and audit plan development. 
  • Recommend changes to the audit plan and scheduled audits. 
  • Provide direction for audit projects and ensure work is completed in accordance with the IIA Professional Practices Framework. 
  • Mitigate identified risks and control deficiencies by ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Provide timely information on the state of organizational risk and the internal control environment. 
  • Communicate compliance requirements to leadership teams and provide strategies that can be used to meet the requirements. 
  • Lead efforts to attract, develop and retain internal audit associates. 

Skills and qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or economics. 
  • A minimum of 8 years of audit experience at a public company or a global professional services firm required. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience required. 
  • CPA, CIA or CISA required. 
  • Excellent leadership skills.
