Job overview: 
 
Schneider is seeking a Senior Traffic Coordinator in Livermore to create, monitor, and complete inbound/outbound shipments within the Transportation Management System. This individual will also be accountable to ensure that inbound/outbound shipment service improvements are made to exceed the expectations of the customer. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for tracking, tracing, and expediting lost moves.
  • Point of contact for Dedicated Delivery Service provider.
  • Coordinate all shipping needs for primary inbound/outbound carriers.
  • Handle the non-parcel orders. Accountable for preparing all necessary paperwork and documentation.

Skills and qualifications:  

  • High School/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Two plus years of relevant experience.
  • Problem solving skills, strong communication, and ability to work in a diverse and dynamic team.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 (lbs) and withstand prolong periods of walking and/or standing.

  • Starting wage of $23.10 - $28.90 / hour based on experience. $1.25/hr (a minimum of 4 continuous hours worked between the hours of 1600-0500 local time) or $2.00/hr (weekend hours worked between 2100 Friday and 0500 Monday)
